Played this last night on PRTA as insurgent.
The insurgents do not get any .50cal techies, but the US do get a BH or two.
Result was that a certain Finnish player was employing BH Gunship techniques, and even with 3 RPG's waiting for him at a Cache he still got 60 kills, and the BH just kept taking hits and making it back to base to repair most of the time.
Kind of amusing - but very unbalanced....

Awesome! Sounds like fair ammount of coordination tho. Getting back to base for repairs and the insurgents fubar'd for not taking the thing out. Although I can imagine its frustrating!

Well, considering armor of ingame BH (resisting rpgs rounds, etc.) how can insurgents take it down?cyberzomby wrote:Awesome! Sounds like fair ammount of coordination tho. We got lucky a few times tbh. Chopper was exploding 400 meters from base more than once.

Re: Ramiel 16
Topic is not that old so I'l bump it a little bit.
Same thing happened yesterday on the 16 layer. The BH gathered around 80-90 kills alone with both gunners. It didnt go down once. It took several RPG and AA hits and one SPG hit (!). And still survived.
It was simply dominating the game, especially since most caches was in the East/SE region of the map wich is open terrain. Several attempts to take out FOB's etc.. was brutaly stopped by the miniguns.
Its no surprise that the US won with over 300 tickets. Needs some balance changes in the next patch.

Isn't there a bug where it shows the wrong faction in the scoreboard?

No. It's fine. Beirut is loading as next map, scoreboard is from round that has just ended...
