I will get two sets of kits made for PR .86 if I get time this week. and I will also start work on SP again.

This will be epic. I have always wanted a realistic zombie mod. Any ideas of when this might be released?

Can Co-Op (humans vs bots) be used online in Multiplayer servers? I've never seen a BF2 server do so.

If it can be, have someone with experience from an SP mod work on programming basic zombie AI so they can attack human players, limit the 'human' side to a certain amount of players and have all zombies on the other.

When a player joins, they join in on the human side if it isn't full. They can fight alongside the other humans, but the other side will consist of a large amount of zombie bots. If they can be set to respawn instantly somewhat near the action so that it seems like there are more of them than there is, that would be best. Since the human side could only have x amount of human players (lets say 4), the rest of the players, bots or humans, would play zombies (60 zombies at a time, a pretty hefty number).

Human players that die can become one of the zombie team (which would cause a bot to temporarily be removed), and players joining when the human team is full would become part of the zombie team.



If you really want to go for the L4D feeling, you could make all the 'bot' zombies spawn as a 'normal' kit through AI functions, and then players can choose to spawn as whatever 'special' kits on the menu, making them able to play as 'special' zombies.

Hmm, again with the bots, well if someone can script them to not be stupid as **** ill be glad adding them :) or else no, only players

Well unfortunatly this is bf2. AI is about as smart as a 2 by 4. there is always python coding though. That can take you really far. Also if the map makers arnt lazy they could make the pre determined paths lead around stupid things like crates (bots get stuck on those things sometimes :P )

Super-uber necro bump!

Essentially, I'd like to propose the exact same thing, except co-op only rather than multiplayer. I think having multiplayer zombies sort of ruins the point of Project, er, Reality and therefore I think it would be better as a sort of fun human vs. computer co-op training mode than as a player vs. player mode.

Otherwise my idea would simply be a "survive for as long as possible" game (like in CoD: WaW). Otherwise, I'd like to add the following suggestions.

1- All kit restrictions would be removed and there would be one of each conventional army's logistics crates in the players' base. In other words, there'd be a Chinese crate, a USMC crate, a Militia Crate, a Russian Army crate, a MEC crate, a US Army crate, etc, etc. As such, the players would be able to choose their favourite weapon in the entire game.

2 - I think we need seven zombie classes not four; a greater variety of zombies is better (and bots will only use the seven default spawn classes anyway - they never request kits).

3 - All zombies are unarmed.

4 - Higher difficulty levels mean faster zombies.

5 - The players' base would be surrounded by several uncappable zombie spawn points, meaning there are zombies coming from every angle towards the players.

6 - The game is over once all players are "dead-dead," as in unrevivable.

7 - The players' spawn point is removed a minute into the game, meaning players cannot respawn once "dead-dead."

8 - 124 zombies vs. four humans would rock (if actually possible)!

Did this mod die?
I would like to see more like an "Walking Dead"-typish gameplay, if that even is a valid gameplay type :D .
So you play a coop mission where you have some mission to do and that mission is always a bit random. Eg. find keys to a helicopter so you can fly away and those keys are always in a different place or you need to find enough fuel for a boat/car/copter that you can escape...
