Problems installing PR. Help needed.

So I finally decided to buy battlefield 2. I bought the complete package online from EA's website. It worked very well. I then decided to install PR.

So I downloaded the 3 parts, installed them in order, without problems. Then, when I tried to start PR, I had the black screen, as if it was gonna start, but then nothing, I'm back to the desktop. I don't really understand where the problem is.

I have just read the order of installation in the manual. I was asked to install BF 1.5 and punkbuster, so I did, but I don't remember if I did it before installing PR or after. So I decided to uninstall PR by going in the BF2 folder where I found the unins. with the PR logo, unistalled PR (It said that the part 3 was uninstalled and the PR mod was no longer in the BF2 folder so I guess it worked) but now I can't even start BF2. It just goes to the black screen, and back to the desktop. I really want to play that game, can anyone help me?

I installed the patch 1.41 and I am now installing the 1.5. If I bought the game online, could the patch already be in the game? Is the game patchable? (I think so since the 1.41 worked...)

If the patching doesn't work, uninstall BF2 and then reinstall in order; BF2, 1.41, 1.50, PR 1, 2, 3.

I bought it on the EA store. Is there any way I can uninstall it and install it again? Also, even if I bought it online, the game is in my prog. files right?

Assuming that's the path you installed it to, yes, of course you can always check yourself. You should be able to download it again from your account on the EA Store or the EA Download Manager.

Aight I'll wait till the patch 1.5 is done and I'll give you some news.

EDIT: Patch 1.5 is done. PR 1 is installing. I hope it will work...

It works fine but when I try to play online, on any server, it says ''invalid CD key''. I have the key on my EA download manager but when I downloaded the game, it never asked for it. What the hell is wrong?

C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support\Battlefield2_code.exe (Just Program Files on 32-bit computers.)

Enter your CD Key in the window that opens and it should be fixed.
