Quality Headset on a Budget

Post by Gunner4712 »

Hey guys, well its time that I get a new headset. So, what are everyone's suggestions? I've been looking around and I really like the Turtle Bay X11's because of the price tag with the reviews I've seen. My main concerns are PRICE (Under $90) and QUALITY of VOICE and SOUND. I've had a Razer Piranha for the past 3 years, and it just died on me. So any suggestions within my range?

You should be able to get a good Sennheiser in that price range I think.

It's perfectly fine in here - "Hardware". I'll just leave it. :)

With 90$ you can pretty much get a really good headset. But remember that if you are going for something like a 5.1 Headset your sound card should support that.

Newegg.com - PLANTRONICS GameCom 367 Closed-ear 3.5mm Circumaural Stereo Headset

I've been using these for a while. They are actually pretty good quality once you break them in a little. Well worth the $40 I spent on them. Very comfortable too. This is the first headset that I can stand wearing hours at a time.
Something something build a fob.

Alright, I'm not sure about my sound card so I'll have to check that out. Any way I can check the "effectiveness" of my card?
