Hi,
I recently upgraded my PC to this:
Intel i7920 @ 2.67GHz (Stock, really good cooler)
BFG GTX 280 1GB
6GB Corsair Dominator
OCZ Vertex 30GB SSD
And when playing PR, suddenly a BSOD will appear...
It doesn't happen consistently, as sometimes it will crash within 10 minutes, yet this morning I managed to play for an hour and a half.
The minidump files say it was a BCC code 124, with the driver: ntoskrnl.exe+4a587c causing it.
If anyone could help, I would GREATLY appreciate it, as PR is the only game I play, but I can't play it if it crashes!
Thanks,
Declan

Maybe this helps NTOSKRNL.EXE is missing or corrupt.

Ok thanks, I'll try to replace that in a minute.nvram wrote:Maybe this helps NTOSKRNL.EXE is missing or corrupt.
One other suggestion was to increase the vcore of my CPU, but i have increased it to 1.22V, yet it still crashes...
Thanks for any help,
Declan

Thank you again for your help, but apparently if the ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt, windows won't even start.
This is really annoying me now!
