Indeed. This is now server policy. 8)

once the new crossovers from vBF2 have been made aware of their actions of course. no need to turn away any players who might never play PRMM again because of any misunderstandings that can be resolved with some simple re-education on the way our community is supposed to work.

IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGEAROUND !!!!

Players on the server will notice, when there is staff present, that persistent lonewolfs, TKers, scaredy cats and bad pilots getting warned and then kicked if they are detrimental to the gameplay on the server. The warnings will be numerous, no one is going to dissapear just because they turned to light up a ciggy or run to the loo.

Messages in server have no changed to encourage teamplay, hopefully the grammar choice will encourage rather than repel the influx of vBF2 players.

a couple of rounds tonight some sides with upto 10 lonewolves found themselves getting snowballed and seeing the rounds end vbery quickly with full flag captures, rather than simply a tickets game. Snipers and Support are no longer quite as attractive to a number of players, even noticed the odd engineer and AT guy trying to cause some interesting mayhem and frequently enjoying the fruits of their labours.

Badmarsh, told you we'd take those flags quickly. should have stayed the next round, it was a walkover for us, you must have been the saving force the round before that dragged our win out for so long :)

Yeah, last night was the worst I have seen it for ages. I normally stick around even in the bad times, but on Karkand there was so many lone wolf support and sniper guys on both sides, no one could take the train accident site without getting cut down straight away. I keep saying this, but I really can't wait for the kit limiting in 0.4. It will bring so many players back to PRMM and make the game so much more enjoyable. It's just turning into vanilla at the moment which is a real shame.

Yeah....yesterday night was very frustrating...I spent 2 hours typing messages like"please join or create a squad"....anyway the good thing is that a lot of new players is coming, and I hope the learning curve will be short....and also the experience players have a little part of this problem cause they are kicking from the squads the new players ,,,and there is no better way for learning that be in a good squad

If more players are coming over, are they leaking over to the other servers? I have noticed a couple of others that are getting players recently, but don't know yet about their communities.

The community doesn't need vBF2 imports to jump on the only populated server they see and then not use any other if they have a bad experience.

The community is going to have to decide at some point to advertise the mod by finding out when the players are coming over (timeframes) then the community distributing itself across a few servers to get players on the variety of servers available to PRMM players.

Good to see you like the server. Not sure what you are on about with an admin calling you a noob when he got mowed down by someone else. No idea who it was but I'm guessing if you were on the same team and tried to help by taking his kit to revive him the comment wasn't for you.

If anything you are the type of team player I would like to see more. There are so many players that when they see a medic go down don't try and take their kit and revive them. Usually if we have a good squad going this quite often happens with people swapping kits.

We're in ED and play alot of 5v5 infantry, we alwayz go medic and revive eachother otherwise the tickets just roll down so yea you kinda get into swapping kits and that if it means keeping your tickets :-D but the comment seemed to be aimed at me.

Saw some iGi-servers in the server list today, while trying to find a PRMM-server with at least a few people playing. But all the iGi-servers was password locked... :(

Beside the aforementioned problem with Muttrah City, the .:iGi:: server is by far and away my favorite server. Good map rotation, two rounds per map with autoswitch, no armor or gunships pwning me (!) and a bunch of friendly, teamwork-oriented people makes chosing a server a no-brainer for me. The low ping times don't hurt either.

appreciate that mate cheers!

News: As some of will have seen over the weekend, we've added back on Muttrah and dumped Karkland. We'll just take the risk of it crashing!

Also, does anybody have any thoughts on the server now being capped at 40? I'm certainly preffering it and am now actually enjoying playing PR again after a few weeks off due to it all getting too frustrating with 50 and so many support/snipers.

40 is good. But we need the PR's DEV's to add a flag at the orchard on Gulf of Man becuase the 16 player sized map is jsut to small for 40 players.
You need to be able to go into the easten hotel abit more and up roudn the back and to the far west, you need to be able to move up to the 3rd USMC base, not the far west one but the one before that.

THese simple changes would make for a mch more enjoyable game.
Even with the greatest of SL's there is almsot no room to make decent flanks.
THe orchard is the right distance from all the other flags to make a great to control point.

Greetings
I would like to know, why I was banned at the server? I have no idea. The only suspicious thing - I've changed 3 squads in one minute 'cause the leaders of the first two were leaving and I think that squad without a leader is like body without the head.
