1) 100% use of mumble; just feels so much socialiable and not so lonely
2) lots of good admins, that get to know you
3) good mix of maps
4) PRTA is the best.

Personally I like servers that encourage mumble, but don't enforce it. I don't like everyone using it at the same time. To much jibber-jabber tbh. Good admins are also a neccesity. I've been in servers where I'm the US Army in Korengal Valley and I get mortar spawn killed at main, and the admin does really nothing about it.

Altough an admin cannot really enforce it, I like it when the most experienced players become SL of different squads instead of piling up into one. When they pile up into one squad, the leftover uber people make their own squad and...well don't do as good.

Good admins that enforce their rules, but are easy going.

I think a combination of things...

1) Owner(s) that is wanting this server for you and friends...for everyone.
2) Admins that are fair and just that will do their best to keep the server clean of asshats and smacktards that ruin the fun for those that want a nice peaceful moment one on one with their favorite weapon or vehicle and a bunch of teammates working together.
3) A community of returning players that keep coming back over and over to play at your server because they know you, they know they are getting on a server that is fun and have a good relationship with the admins/owner.
4) A community of other clans that see your clan as a positive step towards being in an alliance with them to share there rules, suggestions, support, admins, friendship, loyalty, and honor among friends.

Servers that are just starting need to grow and get a plan, they need to listen and hear out their players...what do the players want? What maps? etc...etc...

5) Believe in yourself and your clanmates - then all the pieces will fall in order in due time.
