Transport Heli crews and no points....

So, I was flying as a Trans Heli pilot and saw there are no points granted to Trans Heli crews and about all they do is help the team out by carting them from place to place. I figured surely there is a way to give them points. My idea prolly cant work given the game engine or something but it was to give the pilot points based on the time or distance he flies with people on board his heli, so if you have like 3 people on board and are flying like for 30 seconds then you get 1 pt per person, per second, so the Pilot would get 90 pts. Then points would be granted once he landed the Heli and the people got off. I know points mean absolutely nothing really for the gameplay or anything but just a random thought haha.

Do you play for points tho? I dont want to troll but PR is hardly about points. The most important part is you dont crash and get the team supplied and transported. No one is gonna look at your points to decide if they want to get in with you or remember you

I think the majority of points for heli crews come from the actions of the people they drop off?

I don't know the specifics but its something like 5minutes after you get dropped, your actions give teamwork points to the trans heli? Not sure if supplies do something as well.

Transporting people gives points, but supplies give none.

I dont so much play just for points but I figured since this mod is very Teambased that if you have a low Teamscore then people would figure your not a good team player or go Lonewolf alot or something. I guess im wrong haha.

It is nice to know Heli pilots do get points though.

Afaik it is only when you are transporting passengers. I guess you build value just by being reliable and responsive. Keep them alive, keep your bird airborne. You'll 'earn your points' in reputation with the server population. When you are the pilot that squads run to first in the line of choppers, you'll know

Yesterday on ]TAR[ or TG (I forgot) I think the highest scoring person was flying a BH for the IDF. 0 kills and 4 deaths, but scored over 1.5k
