[Help] Missing .dll for Editor

After searching around the web looking for an answer, I decided to ask here.

After installing BF2 Editor and running as an Admin and in XP compadibility mode, I recive the following error.

BF2Editor.exe- Unable to Locate Component

This application has failed to start because BFMFC.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Running other programs in the Editor Files=more missing .DLLs. Then when I exit out of the error message, An window pops up that says

<File description> has stopped working

The only thing that my Web search turned up was This which sorta answers how to run the editor without BF2 for editing 2142.
I use a Windows Vista. Can any one help me?

So have you tried running in XP SP3 compability mode?

I do not have the SP3 option on my computer, but I do have SP2 and it does not help.

I tried with compability mode set to XP SP2 and it worked fine for me...

You should also run bf2editor "as Administrator"

Maybe your install sucks somehow, uninstall and try with this tuto: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f189-modding-tutorials/14468-tutorial-setting-up-bf2-editor-pr-mapping-modding.html.

Be sure to run setup as administrator.

And i have ran it as an admin. I think that my computer is not recognising that I have BF2 installed, thus resulting in the same problems that people get when they try to run the editor with BF 2142. Any clue how to fix this?

And while I wait for an answer I will try to reinstall the installer. Thanks for the help.
