Unable to Respawn - Ladderbug

Today on Kokan, i got killed (as taliban) just the second i got on a ladder in a guard tower at a compound. I instantly died, but i couldnt respawn. I was just lying there looking at my body in third person view... really wierd

more specific on where the ladder is, and have you managed to reproduce it?

Did you die by getting shot by Blufor or did you just die out of random? I think something like what you said happend to me back in 0.9 but I don't really remember.

But Animal Mother asked if you could reproduce it. If you can't, that means it is really rare, unless you or someone else tells otherwise.

This isn't ladder-specific, it happens when you're in limbo between being on the ladder and being on foot. I remember it happening on vBF2 where you could look around as a dead body

Anyone knows about the insta-death when you spawn with certain kits (ie. first Iraqi Insurgent "Rifleman" kit (the dark brown one) - whenever I spawn with it, I insta-die, and a message shows up, "Select another kit" or something like that)?
