Server issues in single player

Post by reece22345 »

Hi all,

Just bought BF2 and downloaded PR for it. Been trying to set it up and get it all working, and only extensive googling has gotten me to the point I'm happy with most of the setup and how it all works.

The issue I have now is that when I begin a singleplayer coop game, it all loads fine, 48 bots etc but the instant I die, I get a message saying "The server has moved you to the other team," and attempting to change back to the team I want doesn't work.

I have no idea how to fix this and I've tried looking around on the forums to no avail.

I'll be exceptionally grateful for any help.

Thanks!

Auto Balance seems to be on... shutting it down should work.

it could more possibly be about the bot ratid not being equal.

when you create your server(from the coop meny i presume?) there's a slide "bot ratid". iirc, this slide determines the % of bots on the opfor team.

setting it to 0 will have 0 % bots on the left team (blufor team, brit, usa etc)
setting it to 100 will have 100% on the right team(opfor, taliban etc.)

You can turn team auto-switch off? How?

My bot ratio is at 50%, so I think turning the autoswitch off will probably solve the issue. Where would one do that? I've already altered the serversettings.con file to "sv.autoBalanceTeam 0" but that didn't help.

When you start the server, there's a button for that. Uncheck the box next to where it says Auto Balance and there you go.

An alternative would be entering above command, while in-game, into the console.
