If everyone just used mumble and voip without any issues we wouldn't need any of the current Q-rose commands. Also I don't see any coop servers with mumble, please don't just say "screw coop players", same goes for people who don't have the option of using a mic.

I would love to see this in game, unfortunately I agree with the above posters that it would be very difficult to find actors with the right voices.

Oh, I didn't mean it that way. I just meant that the overall voice quality shouldn't suffer (which it would with the suggested recordings), because we normally have the option of using Mumble. If it wasn't for the existance of locational VoIP, I'd have supported this change, that's all I meant to say.

Any voice would be better than the current American surfer-dude guy we have right now. Just sayin'.

Stop has been suggested before, but should be added for sure. British say somethink like ''this mount now'' what does that mean? A horse?

"stick together!" is something I found very useful back in the day when playing bf1942, though you're supposed to stick together in a reasonable degree it might serve as an extra reminder to straying squadmembers or when you find yourself separated from your squad with another guy from your team (seems to happen a lot to me). follow me just doesn't do the trick in every situation.

"stop" is another good one, we used to say "I need a pickup" but that became very irritating after a while.

The whole point of it is to say it when there is no more fighting, i.e., when the room is, "clear." By definition, clear would be called out when all threats in a room or building have been eliminated, meaning there would be no problem with bringing out an epipen. In all honesty, it would probably speed up the process if anyone was wounded in the fighting.

Well, why don't add a "seconday" speech to, I don't know, "Follow Me", saying "Clear!"?

I Don,t kwon how many ******** sayed BUY YOU SELF A MIC, and i don,t what to kwon it.

or even about how many ******** will say IT!.

but we need pratical shiet guys. if someone mic is broken he cannot operat the armor, what means you may lose a potetinal gunner or driven, after all someone whictout a mic not necessary is a noob.

we don,t kwon why the guy don,t have a mic. but there is alot of people how simple don,t have. AND STOP is necessary to armor tatics. because the majority of gunners don,t kwon how shoot while move. FACT!.

Also using stop not necessary say to people of your crew stop, but also people of other vehicles in order to you pass by then while they don,t move. the same work for infantry, of course there are cars that make sound, like arab musics and other shiet, but tanks has i kwon don,t have it. so it will be good to say STOP.

the same go for exemple for a APC, you say STOP, and then unload, or say STOP, so it,s prety usefull. in many cases.

Honestly, a mic is required to play this game effectively. It's just a tiny, tiny thing a "Stop" command would add.

And the problem is not that we don't want it. It's not possible in all languages without drastical loss in sound quality.

dont know why you people keep fighting to keep stuff out of the mod. if sombody makes a stop sound, then it should be put on the commo rose. only the MOST IMPORTANT commands should be on the commorose, not stuff to socalise with.

I do keep fighting for keeping stuff out of the mod when said stuff is not well done and drags down the overall quality.

If someone gets people from all countries featured in PR now and in the future, puts them into a proper sound studio and records every voice command in game - they could add whatever they want.

But I do not want people in-game to suddenly speak in another voice, voice quality or even language just because of a "stop" command, it's just not important enough.
If someone doesn't have a mic, they can easily tell their driver over ingame chat: "hey mate, when I say "Bail out!", I mean stop, alright?"

"Clear" is even less important. The whole point of saying "clear" is that there is no more danger, hence no more reason not to open chat and type it.

the commands should include "cover left", "cover right" "Stop", "Go" "Watch my back" and when you right click the "enemy spotted" button you should get a clock radius so it will say for example "Enemy spotted, 12 o'clock." theres more but i know its hard to put in.

edit: but only the necessary stuff. you shouldn't be able to communicate wants and desires like ammo or medic without being on mumble or right clicking the give up button imo. the current system is one of the reasons the quiet players don't think mumble and voip is necessary. to many pubbie players still remain quiet.

and your right about the accent, and sound of the voice actor but thats doable with the right recourses.

"Enemy - man - spotted - 12 o'clock - 200 meters" - "Two - engage that - man!" - "Two - man - is history!"

So... we should remove the entire Insurgent commorose?

Well, if it's a big building, I think it is okay to have a "clear" command.

As a matter of fact, I think most languages have "Clear" when epipening, right? Just get that file and add to the commo rose!

how i usually do it in anygame (darkest hour/PR) is when i use an asset like armor or MBT and my mic is broken (like now) I tell my gunner (who is usually someone i know) S! is stop G! is go F! is forwards RTB! is return to base. Then you can combine commands like F! 5m nme 2. or nme apc 6! GL! even NME Hvk 4oC Low. Engage. or NME Hvk INC 2 GO GO GO.

as long as your not playing with someone with a different language or whos....slow

it works out fine.

and of course this is in squad chat....-_-

if you dont set up a system like this just learn how to type FAST :D

id think it be nice for a stop just because it can apply to many assets and is a good communication feature to be added....tho there is a nice underlying understanding that BAIL OUT. usually mean stop....unless stopped which means GTFO WE ARE LEAVINGGGG

yes there should be a STOP comm a right click option for inside of a vehicle next to Bail out so...

Bailout/Stop for US its easy because you can Cut the audio off of : Stop firing now and just the the Stop audio section...

for ther countries it may not work as easy so you shoould use a Loud short phrase that means somthing along hte lines of stop. . . . unless the PR team wants to record Stop for every faction. Stop should be a voice requirment while recording for future factions

I doubt anyone but the US/UK factions have "clear" there. I don't speak most of these languages, but in german for example our word for "clear" has nothing to do with first aid, and thus does not appear in our version of the medic. He's saying "Back off!". "Clear" would be "Sicher/Gesichert!" ("Secure/Secured!")
