Unreasonably high ping

Hello guys,

I am having an issue where I am getting a very high ping when I shouldn't... I used to get a ping of 90 on British servers, however now I have a ping of 350+ over there... It is not just temporary, it will stay like that for the entire round!

One more thing, in the picture below, you can see player who is called "-=IDF=- Hunter", AFAIK, he is from Israel and he has a ping of 90.


CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz
RAM: 2GB
GPU: Nvidia Gefore 9800GT+ - 1GB of VRAM
I have a 4Mb internet connection.

Ping that server IP directly and see what you get. If you get the same values its not PR/BF2.
(cmd.exe -> ping 217.146.93.122)

Also run tracert:
(cmd.exe -> tracert 217.146.93.122)
This should tell you where you are having the worst delay. If it is within your lan (i.e. ping to the router) you have a network setup problem. Else you might want to contact your ISP.
