really? I wouldnt be suprised to see kill cam in PR2 if the PR team worked with EA

yea, really. because: i tried arma2, and i really, really didnt like it. (controls, graphics, etc.. just sucked..) so, i dont really care for the mod either, i don't expect it to be fun when the base game is horrible like that. also, i don't really care for vietnam. it looked nice, but its nothing i am really waiting for. so, as far as i am concerned, dropping those projects would be good news for me, as that would free up resources for other things.

i am not sure yet what to think of PR2.

the bf2 mod is great as it is, it doesnt really need much more development. only thing that sucks are the mortars, but somehow i don't think theyll change them; everything else is fine. new stuff is always nice, but not really *needed*

but what i really hoped for since i saw the first bf3 gameplay footage, was to combine that game with PR teamplay/gameplay. so, having reality studios working on bf3, implementing at least some of their ideas right at the roots of bf3 instead of "just" a mod, would be great news for me. although of course, i'd be fine with a pr:bf3 mod as well - depends on their level of involvement, which approach might end up better.

i did not think of the other way around, dice/ea influencing pr2, but as already stated, i'm currently not sure what to think about pr2 anyways..

Then you would have mentioned all the other mods (non-BF2) that BSS is working on.
