I was had.

I blame my upbringing. I was raised on Ghost Recon, KOTOR, ME, etc. So, a great game selling itself out to big money and screwing over its PC fan base for a quick buck has been too common an occurrence for it to seem far fetched.
When ace confirmed it had been given the source material it seemed like too many people involved to be in on the joke.

It seemed only a natural and in accordance with Murphy's Law that I went out and bought Arma CO for this mod which would never exist.

It wouldn't be too unrealistic if EA or another company did buy us up, as they would want us to start working on something to make money strait away, although there would be no doubt Devs who would leave or not be hired who would most likely continue the work to finish off what had been started, much like when DICE brought up the DC team, many of the DC devs who didn't go to DICE to work on BF2 (with the ones who did may I note later all got sacked before BF2's release) kept on working on a final release of DC before they called it finished.

Although it's good that this was a joke, no matter the half fail due to timezones, I have to admit I would have liked having a larger team working on PR2. I would sacrifice a bit for that, though not as much as in this post since I bought ArmA2 specifically for PR.

Well that's why you should have found something funny with this post.

EA games buying up a BF2 mod team. That seems reasonable.

EA Games buying up an ArmA2 mod team. This leads me to believe in a conflict between EA and BIS. BIS as I understand it having a partnership with members of our very own MOD team.

I found this post very funny after literally having to look up timezones and double checking times and dates.

The only thing I didnt find funny was the euthanization of PRBot. Sick ********.
