They could of closed the Arma and Vietnam forums temporarily. The first page announcement could of sounded more "I hope you really understand" rather than "we're happy and getting paid so who cares?". Arma2 cancellation and some other stuff was hard to believe, the very least they could of said that they were restructuring the team with R-CONs and other community members to conclude those projects. DEVs could of make members understand why they had to do this instead of drunk sounding posts and even HELPING right after the announcement.

Just joking. But only a few like me actually read the signs and interpreted them logically with a clear "this is a April Fools joke". My disbelief wasn't specifically targeted at the ones scratching their heads over this, but rather the ones that got upset over it.

i knew it was an april fools joke from the start, i'm just commenting on the people who didnt know and thought it was a bad thing. I for one was conflicted with whether i was relieved or sad that it was a joke at first.

Come on man, these guys work their asses off for nothing so we can enjoy a FREE game.

On my own reaction... I just came off a 7 day long cold from the DEPTHS OF HELL.. sick as hell at the height of it (strep throat) was April Fools.

I think what set me off was that it was acquisition by EA.. I despise them for some things. So it was kinda like mixing ice cream with dog poo.. still ice cream but do you still want to eat it?

I understand wanting to have fun with a joke, and yes I got pwned. But it was bad timing for me. ops:

With a sigh of relief, I'm glad that the ArmA2 mod is still on track and of course the next installment of BF2 R.
