should instead of not being able to carry around some enemy specilty kits . . . when ever you kill an enemy with that Kit you get penalised ??????

In real life there isnt anything wrong with carrying an enemies weapon but im sure you would get in trouble if you started Firingit or especialy if you shot an enemy with it there would be some one saying Why didnt you use your standard issue kit?. . . .

Yes in Pr its mean to simulate situations. but is autokill a viable penalty for picking up a specialty kit??

do you believe that if it is possible to code the game so that if you FIRE the weapon or Kill an enemy with the weapon it acts the same as if you had shot a CIVI?? ( SAME FOR INSERGENTS SIDE )

I'm not a fan of the autokill either and this is a new idea (at least to me) will have to give it some thought. Seems doable and way better than the current system.

1. why would you carry the kit if you dont intend to use it? why do you have a need to pick it up in the first place?

2. US soldiers do not use enemy weapons in the field. this is the same arguement for when i suggested that kits be side locked in the first place.

i see no problem with the current system.
and this sounds alot like a suggestion.

No I like the carrent way the kit penalty system is as you can only pick up rifleman and if you lock it out to the other side what will you do if you run out of ammo in the field and there is a enemy kit near by with ammo.

... seriously, thats what they teach us in basic training, "If your outa ammo, kill yourself instead of using that AK-47 3ft to your left"

When it comes to gameplay, it would be rediculous to limit usage of weapons to only the ones your faction has. Ill sure as hell pick up an AK74 ingame over most other guns. :P

Its better off this way. at least now i can use a HAT kit or sniper kit in the way they were ment to be used without getting ninjad for my stuff.

@ L4gi: He means special kits? :roll:

No. The kill punishment is there because not only is it not realistic for soldiers to pick up enemy weapons ( especially at the rate at which people do in Pr) , but its not realistic for them to then be able to use it effectively and reload off teammates and friendly crates. Is it realistic to be killed when picking up an enemy kit? Of course not. Both systems are unrealistic. This suggestion also, in my opinion does not help that.

So if what ever the devs do its going to be unrealistic , then its down to gameplay. And the devs obviously feel what we have now is best for gameplay. And personally, I agree.

Guys this has been discussed to death many times and I see nothing really new proposed here which "fixes" the issues while not being overly complicated. And I do think that our military advisers experience trumps what civies think as "normal"

Oh and suggestions are to be done in the suggestion section.
