I tend to stay away from it, last time I was on there was a couple of months ago. Used to be on it everyday after Digg become what it is today. Mainly because it's the same **** on there just a bunch of reposts.

Because when I get shot, I'm totally fine 20 seconds later, after I've wiped the blood out of my eyes.

How exactly is this "reality" ? I see HUDs and little pointers showing you where everyone is. Then you get shot and instead of going down, you just have a red flashing screen as if getting a 7.62 anywhere on your body won't put you out of the game. Hardly real is it.

Bloody screen regenerating health. Incorrect reload animations. Names above friendly heads. Names though walls. 3d spotting.

I'm a Redditor, and after seeing that thread, I really want to get into PR. I've played BF2 since 2005, own all the Battlefield games, and I'm ready for a new experience and a new community.

Reddit speaks very highly of the Battlefield games, and I can assure you that most of the "stupid" posts are just sarcasm. With every mention of BF2 on Reddit, you'll always get a good discussion on PR along with it.

Anyway, I want to get into a more challenging, team based FPS, and I don't want to play Arma, so here I am. I've got PR and Mumble installed, and I'm ready to start. Where's a good place for a PR noob to get started? Do any of you have a server you'd recommend?

Any help would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to playing with you all.

For USA I often hear that the Tactical Gamer server is the place to be for good teamwork etc.
