Screen Flashes black and doesn't boot.

I start PR and it pops up with the splash screen, that disappears then the BF2 splash screen appears for a few seconds.
Once that has happened the screen goes black, flashes dark dark blue, gray, black and then just crashes.

No error dumps, no "This programme is not responding" nothing.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

EDIT: I've just started the process of uninstalling everything redownloading the patches.
Should be done soon, will post the results.

Just to let you know I fixed it after a complete reinstall from scratch.
