The Scenario gamemode is still in the files IIRC, I just think that no maps use it.

Unfortunately your word (or even that of your friend) does not constitute a verifiable source, which our MAs can and do provide, so until you can supply one then the topic is irrelevant. I might as well say that I have a friend who says the French Army ride donkeys into battle, doesn't mean it'll be in PR.
Gracler wrote:When the little-bird was removed i completely stopped using air-assets. It was by far the most fun air-vehicle to use. Perhaps the LB isn't used by the USMC but the USMC and the US army can work together and then it could be used.
On a similar note, PR aims for accuracy of equipment used. That's why you might see the USMC fighting the PLA, but they will damn sure be using equipment as close as possible to the real thing. Just because it was a fun aircraft does not mean it is appropriate to this ethos, especially when there are helis like the Kiowa and Huey that are both realistic and (imo) lots of fun to fly.

And I've not even mentioned the fact that the MH-6 is limited to usage by special forces units such as the 160th SOAR and is not in general use by the US Army. They have the Kiowa for mainstream use.

Now please stick to the topic of the actual thread you are posting in.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Back on topic.

I missed out on the VIP mode, sounds like it would have been fun.

I like the idea of scenario's in PR. We've tried them a few times on the BigD server's.
Some of them have worked to a degree and were fun to play, the main problem that we found though was getting people to understand the rules.
Everyone had a slight different interpretation of them. And sometimes there was just to many rules. It was all about finding the balance.

I'm not going to be a fool and state that it would be easy to do or anything, but it would be good if there was the ability to be able to set some parameters for a round to create a basic scenario.

Extraction mode was a blast, especially on Al Basrah v1. I remember you'd take the SUV, LAV, and 2-3 Humvees filled with dudes, and have the helo overhead. Was an awesome site to see all that firepower rolling together. You'd get like 3 tries to get the SUV to the Base (It was worth like 100 tickets). Often it'd run into the desert and be hard to find, but I remember a bunch of times when we'd run the convoy through the city just for fun. Oh man, the RPG's were so thick you could walk on them. Humvees would pull up to sacrifice themselves, and the LAV would blast EVERYTHING in sight. So much fun.

Instead of returning VIP as it was, it might be a good idea to have a "supply convey". Team A protects X# of supply vehicles as they try to get to the exit point. It would fit better with PR as it is today, unlike VIP mode, which seems like it belongs in Conterstrike (in fact it is in CS).

VIP is going to be used with the PMC faction
convoy idea sounds cool though
