Post by MurrDogg »

So I built this new computer, and i just came across a spot of money so Im look to replace a few things if needed.

Intel Core2Duo E8400 processor 3.6Ghz (OC), 6Mb L2 cache
Gigabyte GA P35-DS4 Motherboard
PNY 570 TI Graphic card 1Gb with native HDMI
Samsung Spinpoint 1Tb hard drive 7200 rpm 32Mb buffer
Linksys Wireless G card w/ speedboost
4 Gb PC2-6400 Patriot Dual channel Ram (800 Mhz)
Coolmax V600 watt power supply
LG 10X BLU-RAY BURNER with Lightscribe, burns blu-ray discs,dvd,cd
Windows 7 Ultimate 32

Any thoughts? Trying to get solid fps for project reallity.

Are you not getting solid fps?

That seems like a pretty solid rig to me.

The only possible upgrade in that rig that may improve things (very slightly as that looks pretty good) is a new mobo/CPU/ram combo. Probably set you back about ?400-500 depending on what mobo (using intel i5-2500k as the CPU), also dno if you can upgrade to 64 bit OS?
