Bring back the old soundtrack!

I prefer the new music over the old (with the exception of a few tracks), but as said the older ones have some 'nostalgic' value to them now, besides, the 0.5 and onwards menu theme is simply great.

Same mate. Reality Check is probably one of my favourites - along with Heavy Resistance and Home. Fallen Heroes is also pretty decent.

Maybe each map should have its own theme music, I know that Jabal and Kozelsk share the same one, and Gaza Strip and Asad Khal share the same.

The soundtrack just keeps improving at each update. Well, guess it's a matter of taste, isn't it? I say do NOT bring back the old soundtrack.

I think a lot of the tracks have drums that are out of time with the rest of the music, generally it all sounds very nice and doesn't have much to do with war or action, nor is it very cinematic. It reminds a bit of 90s game music tbh

I'd presonally like to hear something much more inspiring and less like elevator music. I feel the music is there to just keep me calm in the frustration loading moments, instead of something powerful and inspiring -that doesn't use crappy metal guitars

The old tracks made me go crazy. the old al basrah made me feel like i was actually going to go deal with ambushes and sneaky evil insurgents. now its just like elevator music. maybe for the new maps use the new music, and the music used in more than one map could be changed.

im not into stuff like this that much, so i need a little hint/help from you -> you describe how to change the level tracks, but how can i change the menu track and where can i find that certain entry?

id like to use the 0.87 theme but i also dont know if its still in the zip files youve mentioned.

off topic @victor phx: the opportunity to customize some personal settings for the individual tastes is always pretty comfortable, i wouldnt call it "unbelievable".

That old tune really got me in the mood to play the game, but now i just turn the music setting down very low.

P.s not bashing the new main screen music, i just really liked the old version.

I love the old songs, but I think they should be left out of new versions of PR, they remind me too much of the older versions, back when people played just because it was fun.

is it possible to make the main menu loop every pr song? maybe randomize the first song?

the first main menu song is old... probably because its the first one lol. but home is still good.

heavy resistance is probably one of the best.
