well i did ask, about if we are going to have mildots http://www.mildot.com/
which bf2 already has them in there scoped but what i want to know will it be able to use it. Now since you guys stated that there will be bullet drop then, mill dots is going to be a essential to sniper/(any body who intends to use a scoped rifle)
also if i remember correctly that distance can be found threw the use of lazers so then if range can be found in real life how would it be that hard to find the way to implament it into a video game. then the drop of the bullet wont be so hard for the snipers to calculate the drop. Me personally dont mind to use a calulator or a mildot "cheat sheet" in the middle of a pub or match.
any way i just dont want my sniping expeirnce to be distroyed because of bullet drop
i have a qeation on sniper rifles

Personally, I don't find laser range finders necessary. I shoot quite a bit, and have never found a need for them at all...after a while you can make a judgement on the distance, and adjust as needed. Learning the amount of drop your rifle will make is also a lot easier to get the hang of in a video game, so just practice with the rifle on bots for a bit until you get the hang of it.

i think what requiem meant by getting the brit stuff done first was thats the easiest because they know how they want that stuff to be the realism part will take time as thats mostly tweaking the engine and they need to figure out what and how much certain aspects need to be changed where as the models animations and that stuff can be done faster

No no, to be clear; our hopes are to have the entire British force AND, everything already in BF2, tweaked to realism standards by our first release. Of course adjustments may be needed on various items afterwards which would then be expected to be fixed by the next release.
Everything else, like visual aesthetics and new/refined sounds, etc.. will come later.
