For now forum keeps crashing for me, keeps me logged out and not functional.addaco wrote:Hi all,
Some of you may have noticed that the world cup and prta websites went down, with some "um" heated discussion in the pr forums. Well I am glad to say it is back, and we have got the site back up.
This is mostly an announcement to the world cup players, but also those who use PRTA server. The domain is:PRTA Portal
Many thanks

Re: PR World Cup: Sign-Ups OPEN
Fixed in my team's forum area now, but not other forum areas.
Agemman I'm not getting anywhere posting on the WCPR forum and time is ticking away to organise my team for the first match in six days' time - so I'm getting a bit ...frustrated.

Re: PR World Cup: Sign-Ups OPEN
I would suggest considering the Swiss tournament system for game matching in the next WC. I played a lot of chess tournaments with Swiss system and its probably what you look for. All teams taking part in each round, equal strong teams get paired in later rounds and teams never play twice against each other. Bluefor and Redfor could be handled like back and white in chess. The point-difference at end of a game could be used as second criteria (like the goal difference in football)....

Re: PR World Cup: Sign-Ups OPEN
it is a shame how some people are trying to bother and ignore the hard organisation-work of the worlcup.
128 player - PRTA - PR World Cup
i mean, in the beginning of wc2, alot of things went wrong.
but the admins are still doing great, to sort those bad things out. it is just getting better and better.
here and now, i wanna give a thanks to those persons behind the worldcup, and also to the teams which are still believing in this.
