Hello
I am currently using bf2 and PR on steam.Since i started playing on steam,i have not been able to hear other players in my squad who are using voip.My Voip settings are all stuck on 0%.Even after i put both volumes of voip (receive and transmit) to 100% the settings revert to 0% even after I press apply settings and is says the settings have been saved.
I have tried verifying the game cache files but that has not worked.
Im currently running windows 7 professorial 64 bit.My specs are intel quad 2.80GHz,12gb of ram,Nvida Geforce 480 graphics card.
Sorry if i have not been descriptive in my post
Thank you in advance

Re: [steam version]Voip setting will not save
hi!
do you use onboard sound?
disable the steam community in-game setting in the steam settings. then make sure your current audio device is set up as standard in windows, both playback and recording device(by right clicking on your volume icon). set the microphone sample rate to DVD-quality (16bit, 48000 Hz). In-game, set the audio device to hardware and whatever option is available to your audio device. it should work then. also try to update your sound driver from your motherboard manufacturer`s website.

i dont actually know if this is needed, but be sure your mic is recognized correctly in the steam audio setup.
