FH2 can not get you excited for too long, but you should try it, for two reasons. First, even thou the game is far from PR standards (spawn on the squad leader), and teamwork is... on a different level (they don't even use VOIP), still it's a nice WWII game, and with so many players, it's a unique experience seeing so many soldiers running along side many many tanks, it really feels like you're in the middle of a WWII battle.

Second, they can use some help filling the server. :)
There are not many people playing this mod, so it is difficult to go beyond 120p. With the help from us, maybe we can reach 200, which would be pure win for FH2.

It's a shame the server doesn't have better hardware, then we could really see the limits of the engine.

Hmmm. Are you being sarcastic or what?

Awesome round of Jabal. We in MEC thought we were going to lose through out the game, but then we won 50 - 0.

Like I told you, that 0,3GHz faster CPU wont make any difference as server is running under 70% core load atm. bf2 server uses around 1GB memory, so I think that 12GB is enough?

I suppose the some-nametags-not-showing-issue is related to the voip icon not shown for all in the squad/map-hud?

I am not sure what it was, but to me it seemed that pretty much 99% of the time someone in my squad was talking thru the voip and his icon was not lighten after his name in the squad-page. Weirdly I changed squad to avoid the constant babble but in the other squad a similar happened (constant babble, no icon) And yes, my mumble was not un-linked. Perhaps ppl were just in a chatty mood...

are you sure the chatter didn't come from another squad? There is another bug related to the ingame VOIP, the fact that you can hear other squads talking.
