No, not those kind of bunkers
. Sandbag bunkers, the ones we used to have in PR:

Re: [Proposal] Community made PR WW2
were they ever used as a deployable asset in PR?
if yes, what went wrong?
if no, then why not?

Re: [Proposal] Community made PR WW2
they were used as fobs close to flags. i wish there would be a feature in the common rose like:
deploy -> firebase/bunker (which was already discussed i think)

Perhaps some day it will happen...

I am skeptical til I can actually see and try the 2.4Zeno wrote:then i think you will enjoy FH2 2.4 very much![]()
Now FH2 with the low viewdistance and 1-man-1-tank-ADHD-system the gameplay just isn't what I am looking for. And all the other FH2-arcade stuff with hit-crosses, enemy spotting systems, lack of voip users, lack of mumble 3d voip on top of that etc...
DH is a bit more what I am looking for (gameplay wise):
YouTube - Darkest Hour '44 - '45 - M36 Jackson Tank Destroyer Gameplay
And I44 for A2, but it is way too bugged cos of A2 and no one plays it.

Explain the correlation between 1-man tanks and ADHD.Atkinson wrote:1-man-1-tank-ADHD-system

Perhaps I should have been more clear on the definition. My bad.Snazz wrote:Explain the correlation between 1-man tanks and ADHD.

Let me specify that in 1-man-adhd tanking i mean the BF2/FH2/BC2/WoT type solution where the operator of the tank is effectively one with the tank, like he is the tank itself, so moving, shooting, etc without changing positions in the tank.
On the other hand there is the PR and DH style where you have actual different crewman positions. Yes, 1 man can switch between positions but then he lacks the ability to shoot and move at the same time.
Anyway the difference with these systems is that the other one takes a bit more planning where and when to change to drivers/commander/hull-mg-gunner position when not team tanking, and when team tanking, well it takes communication. Different crewman positions give better immersion to the gameplay as well. 1-with-the-tank system basically lacks all of this. In my book that makes the more arcadish system a ADHD gameplay. There are other differences as well with these games but i won't go into it atm. I know not all share this opinion and get offended when their dear mod/game/whatnot is criticized but you must see that the difference there is with these 2 systems is quite significant.
Anyway this is one of the reasons i wanted to see PR:WW2 cos FH2 tanking lacks the immersion of actually feeling like you are inside a tank and operating one.

Project Normandy most probably won't feature tanks. Unless you can find people that can code the driver/gunner-thing for me

Re: [Proposal] Community made PR WW2
I think it's nice how those fh2 jocks keep up the suspense. since octobre last year we've only had little info on what they're doing, they show off some ports from fh1, some new tanks, german winter camo and a map preview in 2 to 6 weeks intervals. at first I thought they apparently had a small or largely inactive team but nothing appears to be less true! by now, the testers slip a few hints on the apparent fh2 gameplay overhaul we can expect within an overseeable future.
damn teasers!

Yeah, I'm not sure if it was a mind trick but I think those halftracks were not included in the initial program. Glad to know they are included though, looks awesome.'[R-DEV wrote:AfterDune;1605385']We had some fun in France this afternoon.
Btw, one thing I wanted to ask you about the LCVPs. How valuable are they going to be ticket-wise?
