Hey there,
my game recently crashes after loading a map. This happens in the multiplayer and co-op mode. I reinstalled the game completely and deleted the user-files of BF2 to solve this problem but nothing happend, the game is still crashing.
But however the game runs without problems when I open a co-op server on my pc, I can play there with some friends without any crash. The crash only happens when I want to play online...
I guess my pc got enough power for the game, a few months ago the game run without any problem; only when i reinstalled my system the problem came up.
My pc:
Core i5 @ 2,67 GHz
4 Gb DDR3 1333 MHz
GTX 260 768 Mb
Win 7 Ultimate x64

Re: PR crashes after loading map
The crash comes after the map finished loading and the join-in-menu comes up where you can choose class an so on - there the game crashes without any message and I'm back on my desktop... I even can't choose a class or do something else. When i look up the task-manager i can't find the BF2 prozess or anything that is in connection with the game - like i haven't started the game.
I don't think that something is missing on my system, i got other games on my pc and they rund without problems, there are Modern Warfare 1 & 2, FarCry2 and Medal fo Hornor... When I reinstalled my system I looked for every recommend driver for my system.
