BF2 Crashes while connecting to Acc. server

I recently updated to patch 1.41 for BF2 and i was instantly faced with this issue...

Every time i try and login, the connecting to account server screen appears for 10 seconds or so, then the game crashes immediately to desktop.

I have no idea why this happens, it worked fine before i patched it, but not anymore.

Im running BF2 on Vista 64 bit

i have the same problem except it crashes right as i try to connect to a server. PLZ pm me if you find a resolve to this issue.

Try deleting your 'my documents> battlefield 2> profiles' folder. Then load vBF2 again =]. Or patch up to 1.5 (have to do that after 1.41)
