I dont want to be harrasing the same people over and over for assistance so i thought it better to ask some of you community guys for help.
I have this problem in 3dsmax9 where the camera's pivot point changes location, as if it goes way below the ground plane. and the rotation speeds up dramatically.
I already searched google extencivley for an answer for this. and came up with nothing.
Its not due to changing the unit measurements, its something got to do with saving one bunch of objects and not saving another bunch of objects. and reseting and restarting doesnt help.
Is there a way to plot an exact xyz pivot point and adjust the movement speed of dragging? (not to be confused with mouse zoom speed.)
Thanks in advance

Are you just modelling or are you doing rendering or something?
To recentre your camera to the object just click the "Zoom Extents" button in the bottom right which is basically a cube with arrows on its corners.
Alternatively if you want full control of your camera, hit Ctrl+C and then you will crate a camera from your view point, then you can drag its target and the camera about at will.
