I'd say trans pilot as well. Anything else, if you die you die. With a full heli, its a mess.

if your fast, flying low, and theres some cover in the area, he shouldnt kill you right out of the sky you can crash land, or even make it back to base.

Yes very good points from both of you, hence the stress of the role may cause wrong decision making.

Being a squad member/not in charge...

Too used to doing whatever I want to do and using my own judgement all the time as SL. Find it difficult not to be 1. lippy, 2. disobedient when tagging along in a squad.

How do you make a poll?

Only mods can make them afaik, or perhaps some other specific users as well. You'd have to ask a mod to create a poll in a thread of yours, preferably prior to creating it.

Edit: Just looked at the date, my post comes way too late obviously. Which is the problem with polls; they push threads up :s

I've been knocking around PR on and off for many years now. There are two roles (based on my experience) that spring to mind as having potential for grey hair growth. Medic and SL.

I find SL less stressfull though with good SM's. With good SM's it allows you to do your job, and I really enjoy it.

Now we have mumble, and is installable from the pr.exe, there is no exuse (certainly for some servers) not to have it running. Really gets my goat up if the SL's are not in SL mumble.

I have not tried to fly a jet online, neither will I ever try to do so online without knowing that the players I play with are able to accept that it breaks down many times before I do any good. I wish there was a good fellow who could guide me through the hardships of jet mastery.

I fly trans all the time and don't find it stressful. The only time I find it stressful is when I'm flying the Mi-8 and it starts tipping when I land on a slope. :o ops:

I'd have to say trans pilot is by far the most stressful job, once inf is in the back the entire assault hinges on your abilities. I invested time and practiced enough to regain my confidence, but one mishap on a server and I felt so bad I don't think I'll ever jump into the cockpit again.

When I squad lead, absolutely nobody listens to me and I get a squad full of trolls. Helitrans can be stressful aswell because it involves alot of waiting.

I would have to say medic. prolly cause i havent tried any of the other roles. knowing if you die your squads pretty much screwed to say the least. Unless they pick up your kit, and drop theirs. its more stressful dying as a medic then a AR or rifleman in my honest opinion.

I agree. It's so stressful because everyone is depending on you. And the battle can change almost instantly if you crash a chopper (not to mention if it's full of infantry).

For me I would have to say squad leader. I've only had limited experience as a squad leader but it is very stressful. Most of the time just controlling your squad is more than enough stress to make me reconsider playing project reality haha. And once you hit contact, holy ****. Unless your playing with a squad that is all people you know, and who all follow your orders, being a squad leader has to be one of the most stressful roles in project reality.

Squad Lead without a doubt. Its always a goat rodeo. That said, listening to a bad SL give over aggressive direction is just as stressful as SL.

trans heli pilot, not only do the inital landings on some maps and long distance logistics of a large number of troops depend on you, you get some right abuse when you get shot down or crash
