Splash Screen Stops Responding/no startup of PR

Post by adog12341 »

Alright, I was getting tired of that MD5 .ddl ****, so I un-installed and then re-installed all BF2 stuff, then PR. I am certain I have the 1.5 patch, so I have no clue what's wrong. I'd really hate to have to go through this whole process AGAIN, so anyone; help? :? :

EDIT: Alright, just tested with BF2(I know, should've done that before). It gets past the splash screen, and then gets to a black screen, and then proceeds to crash to the desktop.... >.< Now what.

I am thinking you should probably post your PC specs.
Did you follow the installation instructions?

Oh, forgot to put this in there, but I've been playing BF2 for years on this same computer, and PR for a year or so. I think something when wrong during installation, I'll reinstall and everything, and report back with my results. It's a mostly stock computer, with a cheap Gigabyte Radeon HD 4350 video card, so I can't run on any stellar settings, but it at least would run the game before.

Wooohoooo, working now. I have no clue if it's for good or not, but it's working at the moment. Mods can go ahead and lock/throw away if you feel necessary.
