PR Not Starting

Okay I just downloaded PR (again, different pc this time) and when I clicked on the short cut the splash screen came up like so:

Then the screen disappears, back to my regular desktop.

I read a few other threads I added "+ restart" and also ran in XP compatibility. Still the same problem. Any help would be much much appreciated.

EDIT: I have 64 bit btw
EDIT 2.0: I think I fixed it - scratch that it didn't work
BF2 has the same problem. It crashed at the splash screen as well, except that it goes to the black screen the crashes.
Tried it again this time it said something about not finding an audio module. It also said to reset options ot default at the PR screen once loaded. The screen goes black and changes a few times then it goes back to the desktop. Oh and the splash screen for PR didn't stay up the whole time. It switched to vanilla BF2 splash.

Think you have to reinstall now but:
After installing BF2 run it once and login to your account to initialize the profile files. Then install PR.

Hmm well this sucks.
At least I have the PR files torrented.

I have the same problem again.

After I installed BF2 it worked. I played it a little. Then when I installed PR it wouldn't go past the splash screen so I tried BF2. I try BF2 and it says im missing some audio module.

I also getting the same problem in xp and win 7

In win7 pr does not start if you dont run it in administrator mode.
At least with my pc.

I ran it in admin mode. Still same problem.

Goes to splash screen. Says missing some audio module. Then it switches to the BF2 splash screen. After all of that it then goes blacks and switches between different shades of black then crash to desktop. No errors no nothing.

Did you patch BF2 to v1.41 and v1.5 (in that order)?
