Hey
It would be really great if you could increase the view distance on Roadrage by about 100meters because its anoying to get shot by enemy BMP thats out of view distance

If it's single player (IE- you only play alone) you can just edit the view distance yourself. If you're playing online co-op then yeah, you'll have to ask the devs to do it (or the server OP could edit their end and you could adjust your version to match, then play, but that would require a passworded server etc etc etc)

May I ask where I change viewdistance for singleplayer? Can I do this for all maps?

GameLogic.MaximumLevelViewDistance XYZ
Also can mess with under/overgrowth distances easily with similar files, and fog.

You might want to take a look at the sky.con as well, as you probably want to adjust the fogrange too.

Re: View distance OP Roadrage
Hi fellas forgot my old account details so I remade one just for this,
I opened the sky.ini because I wanted to reduce the fog in my psrp maps so I can spot my mortar impacts.
I couldn't find a command entry for "fogrange" all I see is this "Renderer.fogStartEndAndBase 0.00/350.00/2.30/0.40" and I'm assuming it's what I'm looking for to alter fogrange, am I right?
If so, what do those values represent so I can tweak them properly, I was going to go the "trial and error" route but this PC doesn't load games quickly and I don't have enough HD space to backup this game.
If not then can someone shoot me a crash course on fog reduction/removal in prsp? (Can't find anything in the mod your single player thread)
Thanks.
P.S. Not important but is the fog in prsp used for performance or purely visual? What I'm wondering is if I remove a maps fog outright, will I see a performance hit?
EDIT: sky.con not ini >.<

Disregard this, I found the info I needed I wasn't looking hard enough.
For google lurkers the second value is regarding fogrange.
