When playing other games, you press "capslock" or "enter" all the time trying to get a map.

feel the urge to ask "are you revivable?" whenever you hear someone says "I'm dead"

-Man, I'm dead...

-Are you dead-dead?

-Huh?

-Uh... nothing. O_o

Hearing some raspberry similar to the lock sound of AA, yelled "FLARES!" in a minivan.

Start running around with a shovel in RL like in PR. Subsequent idle ninja move is a challenge.

More or less pr related but still a funny story:
My mom was reading a Nat Geo today and came across a picture of the Hoover dam.
Mom: "Oh hey, it's that dam (sudden blankout and forgets the name)..."
Me: "Ya, it's Kubra dam."

Out of the hundreds of replies I've seen here the OP is actually one I can honestly relate to.

I said "Roger" yesterday while on the phone scheduling a MRI appointment with the doctor. It was a bit embarrassing but funny nonetheless.

When watching combat videos from Afghanistan and an A-10 does a gun run you press TAB to see if anyone on the Taliban team died.

the other day my motor/cognitive skills became very very confused, behind me in my gaming room i have a small digital clock and for some reason i got the urge to know the time, so instead of turning around on my chair my right hand kept on turning my mouse clockwise.......

all i can say is that it all got very confusing, it was like i was paralysed, my brain wasn't happy because i couldn't see the clock and get the time, by brain/body responses had become a corrupt shambles of frustration.

in the end when my brain finally caught up i nearly fell off the chair i spun round that hard, like some sort of ureka moment !!

i pressed esc and went and had a nice cuppa and a giggle.

still slightly troubles me though.....

hahaha :P I can imagine how you must have felt. Had that urge a few times myself but my brain snapped on quicker saving me from something like your story.
