Keeping dynamic shadows low

Okey story short

My system is not gaming pc, so if i run pr on medium lighting settings i get lag in flying. When low everything okey, so i keep all shadow and lighting settings on low, but dynamic shadows just go off i set lighting settings on low. If i set on medium, everything fine. So the question would be how to turn on dynamic shadows on low lighting settings? (i have ATI grachic card, and setting 1 on dynamic shadows on my documends-> bf2 -> video file does again reset for off.)

okay. Try editing the video.com settings again. Start the game as Administrator and Check to make sure your video options still say low. It may be your video card. To it, low is off. IDk. Post specs and it may shed some light on the situation.

Also whant to ask what would be better for performance, win7 x64 or x86?
