Mumbler 1 "duuuude there is noooo teamwork here"
Mumbler 2 " OMG I know rite?"

Squadleader "SHUT THE HELL UP AND FOLLOW ME!!!!"

So if you hear anything at all in a mumble channel, its better than hearing nothing ;)

NwA, Merk and Tactical Gamer are three servers I can recommend.

You have to have it at least a month to start liking it. My first succsesful firefight agasnt an enemy squad made me start to like PR, and this was about 2 weeks after I downloaded this.

Problems with finding a good squad? Just run your own. It's not difficult, just enjoy the game!

Good way to get raged at as a new player. Not a good way to learn the ins and outs of PR.

Leading a good squad can be very difficult, there are so many factors to keep an eye on that there is no way I can conceive of a new player having fun micromanaging a squad while trying to understand what a FOB is, and how to deploy a TOW to disable that armor clunking over the hill.

Don't go starting a squad of your own until you're confident you can handle any situation thrown your way, it will avoid a lot of frustration on your part, as well as any would be squad members.

Just find a good infantry squad with VOIP in the name and don't be afraid to ask the experienced players for help, the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked.

Nobody mentions PRTA but its the only place where Ive had a proper and fun round. Friendly community and admins willing to help. Mumble is required tho so better read a mumble tutorial.

To enjoy PR there is a simple formula:

# Join a good [teamwork forced] server [usually mumble required].
# In this server join a good, chatty squad.

Sometimes these conditions can't be met (too few servers), and you'll have a **** game :( But it's worth it for when you do get a good game.

Bear in mind everyone has a preference for different maps.. I like Small maps and city maps in the Insurgency game-mode. Other people like the Huge maps and Assault And Secure game-mode. If you have a favourite by all means deviate but appreciate that you may get frustrated on the ones you don't like. It's not so much like vBF2 where you'd stick on a server for a whole night - cherry pick what you enjoy (at least until you are enjoying the game and want to play more).

Oh yeah, and if you're new just tell the SL. New players are either good (talk a LOT and give others the pleasure of being able to show you all their techniques) or bad (never talk, never ask questions). be the former, if people are rude to you or unreasonable they are asshats anyway.

Best choice.
join to clan. And you will find really good teamwork like on video. Trust me :-)
In public game just few time u will find good sq leader. Or become squadl leader yourself and make i tbetter. But clan is still best :-)
Enjoy it

btw. Clan wars are really greate :-)

Clans are not necessary, only good servers. Unless you want role play-ish gaming.

Mahi speaketh the truth. i've never been in a clan and i've played for 12 months, as mentioned just make sure you're in a good squad that chats a lot and you will learn fast.

Never been in a clan and playing for 5 years. Clans are a waste of time IMO.

Don't take the game seriously, you win some, you lose some. After a while you stop giving a shit anyway since your having so much fun

Then again as has been mentioned good server (mumble enforced ones tend to be better), and try and get into some kind of community or clan, or even just a group of people you've played with and enjoyed the company of in the past. Don't be a loner in other words and you'll at least have a giggle
