Your CD-key is invalid issues

Alright so as the thread title explains I started to have problems with the game.

Under very extraordinary circumstances I had to uninstall BF2 and PR and get a new copy of the game (nothing to do with EA/DICE). So now I installed the new BF2 (EA classics edition), updated it correctly and installed PR ( old passworded installers). I tried to connect some vanilla server and got the CD-key message. Same with PR. What the hell now? Everything should be brand new!

I tried to fix the registry with DeadFast's program and manually. No effect. CD-keys entered 100% correctly. Could it be that my old CD-key is still affecting? I'm making a new topic hoping this'll get more attention.

So here I am now begging for help.

Try reinstalling everything. I've had the same problem and fixed it.
And if the game still doesn't work, just take a photo of your BF2 box and contact EA and send the picture.

I saw that thread but it didn't provide any help so I made a new individual thread. I'm not dumb thank you very much.

Yeah I contacted EA and the customer support is working on it.
