Re: Porting PR to Mac OS x
I was going to post very mean motivational pictures about macs but...
not really worth my time anymore.
Anyways, unless they come up with a port of the TR.exe and the PR.exe, no.
=/
(which includes making sure the game points to those new program files as well, other wise you'll get "THERE IS NO PR.EXE" errors on your mac. =/)

Cannot be done without the orginal sourcecode that belongs to DICE.
So answer is no.

Ah i see, i read before that people were saying it could be possible but there was other things to make PR work, which would need to be recoded or some stuff like that. Any more complex than that then it's getting to complicated to understand for most poeple...

The first step should be to throw your mac out the window. Then you can start again with a proper pc.

The first step would be to reformat and install another OS.Agemman wrote:Who said it is a Mac? Might be a Hackingtosh![]()

How would you play PR with only one mouse button anyways? XD As the developer said, unfortunately, it won't happen.

Well, I'm still not sure why you purchased a mac, but back ontopic, oh wait, it's been answered..
What I will "throw in your face" is the money you invested in getting a mac, you could have gotten yourself a super computer that plays games(even though you'll be hooked to PR since all FPS's are the same now...)

Re: Porting PR to Mac OS x
Wasnt my topic btw
I just had to defend our mac honour.
And to answer your question (as I said a few times when it came up) to increase my chances of not being turned down on a job (interview) in the design business. Actually got told that could happen in my 1st year by a professional. Some companies work with macs and use mac only software and require you to have one as well.
Turns out I made the right choice because I got an intern job at a company that indeed required me to have knowledge in the mac editing suite. So not all Apple users are just fanboys who go after shiney things. They eventually turn in to one tho
