This is a known bug, and occurs when your Shaders cache has not been cleared out. Simply go to [My Documents/Battlefield 2/mods/bf2] and delete the entire folder.

I have same that problem, this happen because U install Xpack before Patch, Fix: Install BF2 =>Xpack =>Patch 1.41 =>Patch 1.5 =>PR
