the air ripple by heat from the jet exhaust was really hard to make look good and it's barely noticeable, whaddaya think?

About the blur even after you've mentioned it I can only just see it so it's not really necessary lol.

Grat work mate, I like how you've matched the grain from the background picture as well, makes it look much better. For future reference you might want to increase the blue level and reduce the contrast a bit on the background objects (The migs in this case)

Yeah I didn't pay as much attention to those as I should've, forgot to.. But as always one can find always something more to improve The image looks much better and with the heat ripple than without it, quess I'll just have to learn to make it pop out more and look more realistic, just blurring it doesn't look right but it's also really hard to make the ripples look natural

No all I know it's somewhere over Gobi, and that's what I just did for the last 20 minutes (crawling through google maps)
