Does anyone know why the image becomes a lot darker when you save it, than when your look at it inside photoshop?

WTH!? I'm having the same problem, images that I save turn out much darker than they appear in photoshop. I haven't had this problem until now, I've done a lot of photoshopping recently.

I was about to post my new edit here but then this problem appeared! HELP!

There is definately something fishy going on, the image is much darker than it's supposed to be and the colors are way off. This is the first time I've ever encountered something like this!

Carbonade, do you have Win7 and did you install the Service Pack 1?

Probably monitor color profile. Photoshop has a number of color settings which you can include in the picture.

Its a really good piece of art once again. I love the focus/blur work you do on all images. Cant wait to see the bright version :P

I tried a lot of things with the color profiles, nothing helped. All my computer color management settings are default, as well as everything in Photoshop. I don't understand where this problem suddenly came from since I didn't change anything before it. By the looks of it Carbonade has this same problem. I am getting really frustrated with this really fast.

:bur2:

Oh and saying it's probably a problem with color management /profiles doesn't really help much, I figured that much out by myself.

Maybe it's a photoshop update, I noticed adobe trying to update a few days back but stopped it because of my internet, maybe they'll fix it soon

Yeah I installed an adobe update just recently, and also the Win7 SP1.

Since I really want to start with the picture editing stuff, does anyone have any help recommendations for GIMP? (or photoshop?)

your rain effects are particularly for the night scenes, too bright. and of course too much of the white splash over objects.

keyword for all artists regardless of medium: Subtlety
Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.
