[Solved] PR will not launch, "unable to open BF2 process"

Hello
Project reality will not launch. I get to the PR splash screen then an error pops up:
"Unable to open BF2 process"

My BF2 installation has allways worked fine, and none of my other mods have this problem.
I have Forgotten Hope 2, AIX, Nations at War and Special Forces installed.

I installed PR with the torrent files, and I had all the three parts..

What to do?

Try to run as admin

I run both pr.exe and bf2.exe as admin..
Still the same error

MAYBE You should reinstall PR

My internet is slow so it is going to take a while
I'll reinstall it and report back if it works or not..

Have you Deleted The installer 3 of them ?
If i were you i,ll put them in a folder

Doesn't matter now, it started working
I had just put the pr folder in the trashbin when I thought i should rather use the uninstall program, so I put the pr folder back into the mods folder.

Then I accidentally launched PR and it worked xD

I've tried EVERYTHING and I still get this message. It used to work perfectly... Is there any other way to fix it???

find your bf2.exe file in program files directory or inside the steam directories,, right click it, select compatibility, set it to run as admin. You could also run it in Win XP SP3 compatibility mode too, disable theme also can save some RAM.

1. does vanilla bf2 work?
2. do other bf2 mods work?
3. any antivirus programs running?

0.0 Wish i had did that a lot sooner. Lol. If vanilla BF2 isn't working then it requires an uninstall and reinstall.
