Game Freeze/System Freeze Bug

This has occurred to me multiple times in the last few weeks since I have gotten PR. I will be in a server on any game mode and my game will just freeze. I will be able to do nothing because my system goes non responsive afterwards. I always have to force shutdown to get back online. No one else I have talked to seems to have this problem so I figure it is a bug with my game. It also only happens in this game so it cannot be a graphics or hardware issue because I run games with much larger system demands.

This is happening to me too. I can play games like APB, COD, ARMA 2 for hours on end without an issue. 30 mins or so of playing BF2/PR and my system locks up.

Its not pr fault its your HDD is going doing check it with crystaldiskinfo

Ever since I updated to PR v0.96 my game freezes all the time and have to do a hard reset of the computer.
At first I tried the patch from 95 to 96 and it froze multiple times.
Then I uninstalled PR from computer and did a full install for v96 but it still freezes. Punkbuster was upgraded along with v96 and tested out okay.
Check firewall settings and firewall is set to trust Punkbuster A & B, and also of course PR.
Can't figure it out.
