I have searched the forum countlessly to find out how to line up the caves properly but i cannot seem to find anything. So i am asking for a little help on how to properly line the caves up, it would be greatly appreciated. Im also having some trouble with objects saving. My vehicle depot or command center wont save and when i open my map back up it is no longer there.
Thanks, jax`

re: [Help] aligning statics
select the cave section that is in the correct location
look on the right
click stamp
select the part that isn't in the correct location
click align
done
not sure whats going on with your ACV...are you sure the geometry isn't showing but the object spawner is there? (sometimes the geometry won't show unless you spefically tell it to)
the stamp and align tool is very potent for saving time and effort while achieving high levels of accuracy.

re: [Help] aligning statics
I watched that and know how to do it. But now im wondering does the "cave inside" require two "cave entrances" or am i just aligning it on the wrong angle?

re: [Help] aligning statics
the stamp and align tool only matches X, Y and Z coords, the rotation has to be done by yourself, the inside and outside bits have to have the same rotation
just double click the object and you'll be able to copy and past the exact values between them

re: [Help] aligning statics
iirc there is some kind of group function, however I've never used it
when I want a few objects to move together I create a new layer on the right, deselecting every gamemode etc, then I put the statics in that layer, right click the layer and select 'select all in layer' and you'll be able to move everything in that layer quickly
