yes it isn't easy to run out of ammo for your standard rifle unless if your really trying to. However it is quite easy to run out of ammo for a shotgun or the tommygun-thingy that the militia has. Also ive run out of ammo few times with any Automatic rifle kit. You only have 2 hand grenades which is either wasted to quickly or people tend to go in "saving" them and getting killed by a guarding enemy.

Generally I think that it is impossible to waste to much ammo on regular kits.... the thing is... it isn't always a good idea to fire a lot of bullets when 1 or 2 aimed hits could do the trick. Don't underestimate the power of suppressing though... it works on most enemy's, those who ignore it probably end up dead.....the last few are the experts who kill you with an aimed shot.

As long as your not an expert in shooting id say that a bit of spraying is a good way of compensating. Meanwhile your team-mates should have time to flank and kill the target.

another tip for new players.

know what effects your deviation.

Moving for more than 5 seconds totally messes up your aim, so practice to stop on a corner for up to 5 seconds...then tap forward so you can just see the enemy and shoot.

Prone position is often a bad idea. example:

1 your at the corner and you spotted your enemy...you enter prone position but now you have to wait another 3-5 seconds before your aim is good.

2. If your in prone position it will take you more time to stand up and run if a grenade lands near you.

3. enemy's often use rooftops and if they are higher than you then you make a much bigger target if your prone. However if you are in the middle of the desert and there isn't any solid cover you want to be prone to make a lesser profile.

Crouched+Standing position is very useful combination. example

1. You found a piece of cover and when your crouched it hides you completely. Now sit behind cower for 5 seconds and stand up and scan for enemy's. You can now duck behind cover if you take fire, by crouching, but you can also stand up and return fire accurately.
this also works for deployed weapons, just remember if it is deployed then any movement with your feet will mess up your aim for another 3-5 seconds.

******close combat 1-15 meters******

You will not have time to aim if he already saw you.....just fire in the general direction of your enemy...it only takes 1-4 bullets to kill your enemy.

If he didn't see you be brave and go for a knife kill if your alone, especially if there is a lot of noise from vehicles and explosions he wont hear you coming, and most of the time he cannot be revived after you knifed him.

Gracler... I totally agree!!!
Prone is horrible for Close Combat.
