IIRC the epipens are also supposed to represent dragging a wounded soldier to cover. In my opinion, since dropping a field dressing on a corpse takes a while longer before reviving, it's only fair that it's possible to "drag" a fallen soldier slightly faster.

However, I do think that there should be few patches more, that would also be a bit more efficient, due to not being able to heal yourself with the medic bag anymore. In this case I believe that taking out the patch and dropping it could take a while longer, since it wouldn't reduce dressings' healing efficiency from what it is at the moment, and would only benefit revival gameplay because of more planning needed beforehand if you want to be fast.

And speaking of base health after being revived, it's currently fine. I'd also like to remind that there already is an official statement about the situation of medic self healing.

Do you think you get incapacitated from a 120mm MPAT in your chest?

Its not an exploit, its valid tactic, nobody in my squad uses it, and if he does, he gets a bullet in his head by me, because its plain retarded. If im on the enemy side, i just wait till their foolish medic comes running for a revive in a hot zone and i pick him off with the help of my mateys, repeat process until whole enemy squad is down.

Yup, that's a funny tactic on insurgency.
1. Get a Dragunov.
2. Find a stupid blufor squad running like a ducks through open terrain.
3. Shoot down the last guy.
4. Watch how the medic comes to revive him.
5. As soon as the grunt gets revived shoot him second time to dead-dead him.
6. Watch the medic wtf reaction trying to stab him again.
7. Kill whole enemy squad.
8. (Optional) Laugh at stupidity of some PR players.
9. ???
10. PROFIT

The Patches that are that tan bag... DON'T WORK. I want more power in them.

mattnett what is your problems?
those ARE actually nothing more than patches! but your wrong, they WORK, they heal 20%, which is not enough to heal you completely after getting shot but enough to give you one more minute to find a medic, now stop complaining.

Easy, guys. Mattnett, you seem not to notice the effect of these field dressings, but they're not supposed to do much on their own. As Zoddom stated, they can buy you some time to find a medic - alternatively, several people can heal one team mate by sharing their field dressings with him, in case that their way to the nearest medic is cut off by suppressive fire or somesuch.

Thank you for your statement, -Read ^
It's not that the most medics (I say about 80%) even survive long enough to use his patches all up, and even if killed/heavy wounded someone else can just give him his patch/revive him.

I'd rather revive someone and make sure that he can cover me while healing than revive him and show him the way fast enough before he dies/hits a wire/falls from a stairs/other absurd things that can happen in PR.

How many times have you died to wire when wounded? Or fallen down stairs, even?

I don't think that has ever happened to me. I fell of plently of stairs while alive and well, because I was actually able to run, but when wounded I crawl down the stairs so slowly that I couldn't even hurt myself if I tried to. And the wire - apart from that one video, I know of no other case of this exact cause of death to someone who was recently survived. Openly placed wire is visible even when bleeding out, most of the time, anyway. Be more careful if that happens to you a lot.

The revival health seems to be okay the last time I played.. you were just seriously wounded, you shouldn't be able to get up and play at 100% unless you get medical attention immediately.
