Regarding your earlier question. The Canadian faction forums (like the Israeli and German ones) were taken 'behind the scenes' as of their integration into the mod.
Sorry for the mix up, I was sure that the UH1N was the Venom. Anyways, The CH-146 looks much more like the UH1Y than the UH1N (4 blade rotor and also that extension on the top). If there is a CH-146 or UH1Y model in the works I would like to skin that for the CF/USMC. If not, I will use the one I took screenshots of as a place holder for my map.

For the CF forums, that's to bad, I really would like to see the old post ... could you just move them to a other section and lock them?

Perhaps the German Huey is closer to the CF griffon?

As it has been said, no need to work on a Griffon reskin, there is one in the work already. (and someone has already been assignated to the texture, so Nixon, you'll have to do something else. :-P )

I'll try to find some hours to work on the kits.

Ah, and about the new model, there are slide doors on it. ;) (and even gun mounts so that we can put FNMAGs on it when the weapon is done)

It's closer to the Vietnam era Huey since it's the single turbine version. The Griffon is definitely closer to the UH1Y (Venom) which is not in PR yet, thats why I took the UH1N (Dual turbine like the UH1Y) but still differs for some parts like the rotor (which I changed) and the top part of the engine.

Btw if you guys need to have something skinned for the next version of PR contact me :)

I think that the current USMC helicopter can be a good temporary solution to the Griffon. The German Huey just wouldn't do though.

Thanks to [R-DEV]Hauteclocque we now have the new kitgeos. Still a WIP, but I am looking forward to releasing the new skins for the next patch of PR :D

Sweet of you to do all this, it looks sweet. However im kinda stumped on where that is on the west coast as the only flat area on our coast is the lower mainland (Vancouver), and sorry to say but Van doesnt look at all like that, but have fun making it.

Nice work guys on the textures :)

I also think it was a good move to scrap that homeland map, the concept didn't look that good to me tbh and your new map concept looks much better :)

Ever thought about doing Victoria? theres a navy harbour there, and a lot of cool features, old war bunkers incase the japenese attacked, definately something to look into.

Because the mod and its core team members are all integrated into the mod/team, it is then officially part of the mod and the team works on the core stuff, thou like anything, we always allow people to work on stuff in the community modding forums like here which is where we get most of our team members from :)

Its no different for British, PLA etc stuff being made for the mod.

i think if your going to be making a canadian map, then you should make it way up north, when i get back from vacation i intend to start learning how to make maps, so i could probably give you some help in the future. also canada just started a project for stealth snowmobiles which would be cool to see in a future release :P
