[0966] Scope shader issue

Post by captain obvious »

when ever i use a scoped weapon or a gun with optics it will make a black and white fuzz for a second then go to the scope with a slight lag then whenever i get a blur effect my screen goes upside down really small black and white surrounded by four lines that stretch the ends of the supposed to be screen

I've had this bug while scoping in in one of the community (non-official) maps. If I remember correctly, It was Community Training by VapoMan. You have it in deployment mode or coop?

Your graphics card is really old and doesn't have the proper shader versions, you have a broken card, or you are getting excessive amounts of overclock artifacts.

Please post your graphics card.

No mate. 0.91 was fine because we didnt have 3d scopes there yet I believe... Or maybe the shader got tweaked a bit so it looks better/runs faster...

All you need for PR is lets say HD4850 or HD6850, these you can get for around 100bucks, should be no problem. Just save some money for a few weeks and get a new GPU.

please make sure to use the bug reporting template when reporting a bug in the future.

the problem you face isnt related to the mod, its a clientside problem. for technical support check out the IT section.
