Why should experienced or veteran players suffer due to the incompetence of someone new?

you cant escape being burdened by new guys, the world survives on new guys. just like the real military, just like any workplace, and just like any other game community. Old and experienced people eventually die, retire, or resign and get better pay somewhere else. You're making the same argument as people who don't reproduce for selfish reasons like, "with children i wouldn't be able to afford to drive a nice car and go clubbing every other night."

we must all "suffer" the new guys. The difference is, are they still new guys next week or are they still new guys next year.

Haha I get similar treatment every time I play because I cant use a mic for personal reasons and also my comp hates mumble.My name don't do me any favors I guess either.So kind of in the same boat as newbies.

Seems to be more as of late than in other generations of the PR playerbase.Where it happened once in a blue moon before,It now seems like every game.
The elitism that some players demonstrait never ceases to amaze me.

I'm pretty new compared to most people here. I've never really had any of that happen, but there are people, like in [myg0t] who actually play PR sometimes, and they'll TK anybody, but they wouldn't kick from squad because they can't hear you rage...

Like I said, I've never experienced anything like this, the worst thing I experienced in PR as a nooby, was getting yelled at for trying to help a guy operate an APC.

I have never been kicked out of a squad by just joining. So I think that your situation, OP, is not that common, or so I feel... maybe you just got unlucky?

I have been kicked some times without any reason. And when I rejoin and ask "why did you kick?" and I get a kick again it pisses me off that the player is so arrogant that he cant spend 2 sec to type a reason.

of course it can be ignorance or impatience or whatever.....but it still is common courtesy to type a reason to whoever you kick....no-matter how pointless the reason might be. Any given reason is better than no reason.

I kicked a guy for not having a Mic the other day. He was typing in chat and all, but i explained to him that he needed a mic to play PR.

Then i kicked him from the squad. He wasnt on mumble, so he was removed from the server after some time AFAIK.

The thing is, people who talk, doesnt get kicked. People who doesnt talk gets kicked.

But sometimes, there are people who talk way to much, like me. And they get kicked alot too.

Well, there are QUITE A FEW non-micers who are better than micers in all aspects, including communication.

I never kick someone for just not having a mic. I kick when they fail to type information when required, though.
